Modela meets with Mexican folk artist Concepción Aguilar in her home and workshop every trip to Oaxaca. Concepción is an accomplished artisan. She lives in Ocotlán de Morelos, Oaxaca and is one of four Aguilar sisters who create whimsical pieces in clay that are then painted.
