Adrian Martinez is a creative potter in the town of Atzompa, Oaxaca. He is always experimenting and these mezcal cups are a result of that. The cups look like raku but the lines are created by his own hair thrown on the pieces while firing. Adrian told me that it’s an ancient Zapotec pottery method.

Adrian’s mother and brother are also famous potters in Atzompa.
