Calavera means skull in Spanish.

Each one has been made by hand by Marcos Antonio Canseco, a potter in the Oaxaca Valley. Before firing, he drops a piece of glass at the bottom of each cup that when fired at high temperature melts into this beautiful puddle of color at the bottom of the cup.
