Made by wood carver Reynaldo Santiago this fun lion—with it’s magenta ruff and turquoise body—is one to add to your Oaxaca carved wooden animal collection.

Reynaldo is part of the extended Santiago family in La Union, Oaxaca that has been carving alebrijes since the 1960s.

Ordered and purchased this fall. Reynaldo Santiago is a favorite carver in La Union. Plus he and his wife are so gracious. Modela visits them twice a year.
