Made by Oaxaca wood carver Reynaldo Santiago, are these happy giraffes. They seem to be smiling.

Reynaldo is part of the extended Santiago family in La Union, Oaxaca that has been carving alebrijes since the 1960s.

Purchased this spring directly from Reynaldo. He is a favorite carver in La Union. Plus he and his wife are so gracious. Modela visits them twice a year.
