Clay deer candleholder made in Chililico, Hidalgo using the same techniques as pre-Hispanic times. The painting on the deer is done using chicken feathers. A Mexican folk art treasure demonstrating the lasting heritage of pottery in Mexico.

The hole for the candle is larger than a normal US taper--you will have to use melted wax or purchase some wax for that purpose.
