These little face pots were made exclusively for Modela by two women potters in San Marcos Tlapazola, Oaxaca. The pieces from this village are called barro rojo (red clay) referring to the color of the local clay.
The women hand form the pots with different expressions on them. Perfect for succulents, the pots have a hole on the bottom for drainage.
