Whimsical carved wooden jaguar head for the wall from Oaxaca, Mexico. Modela first sold these animal heads in 2008 and they are still a favorite Mexican folk art example today.

This delightful jaguar is a brilliant green with white spots and orange ears.

Carved out of wood and painted by Placido Santiago in La Union, Oaxaca. Placido Santiago and his family are wood carvers from the village of La Union, Oaxaca. This piece was purchased this summer at the family workshop. Signed.

The heads come with the hanger already screwed in so it’s easy to get on your wall.

Size: range from 2” - 3” wide and approximately 2.75” deep (from the wall)
