Sweet, handmade ceramic mug with marigolds made by Estela in Oaxaca, Mexico.

The contrast of the cobalt blue and yellow is striking. The inside is glazed in a shiny terracotta.

Marigolds are prevalent in Oaxaca, especially the large ones called cempasuchil which are used for Day of the Dead altars.

3” in diameter (plus additional 1.5” of handle) x 3” high
