Artisan made in the Sierra Norte de Puebla. After removing the fiber from the tree, it is soaked in water for 25 days so that the fiber becomes soft enough to be maneuvered. Then the fiber is left in the sun to dry before weaving into unique and functional pieces.

These baskets are very durable and can be used for storing pretty much anything.
